Below are designs of a teaser poster and a registration pack I designed for the Charity. The aim of the designs was to be creative, so I took inspiration from the attire of the challenge and decided to create the registration pack in the style of a comic book, to befit the chosen theme of Heroes and Villains. I have also attached the briefing document I created for the challenge which includes the objectives, itinerary and budgeting for the event.

I recreated the charities logo to befit the upcoming national holidays. The Trust used these for their social media to engage with their followers during the holidays. I designed the logos on Adobe Photoshop as this programme allowed me to recreate, edit and manage the designs in the correct format.

From simple admin work in the office, to assisting at the Trust’s annual ‘Bright Star Ball’ raising over £800,000 - Jade did extremely well during her time here. Jade’s strength was her organisation but also her creativity. While here, Jade did numerous marketing collateral for the Trust, including new logos and event posters. She listened carefully to each brief and created some really good content. She also supported an array of the Trust’s events including as mentioned the Bright Star Ball Gala, as well as the Trust’s Ladies Lunch and Golf Classic.

I can speak for everyone here at the Trust and within the office when I say Jade really has a bright future ahead and whatever career route she decides to go down - I am very confident that she will smash it. I hope its events!

Events Manager | Holly Moulton, 2019

It has been an absolute privilege to have Jade as part of the team over the last two weeks. After completing her induction, she diligently took guidance from the team and was off and running producing event briefs, artwork and also test P&L's within a few hours.

Jade has all attributes of becoming an A1 event professional and I would have no hesitation in supporting and endorsing her future career.

As part of my final year, I undertook this PR Module. The aim of this was to prepare students for the real working world of managing communications for clients. I was given a choice of Live Client Briefs in which I decided to work for MG.

MG were looking to raise awareness of their new MG ZS Electric Engine. Going forward, they wish to encourage their customers to purchase an electric car as their next vehicle.

I created a proposal for the company to promote and communicate MG as a brand which is making more environmentally friendly choices. This included background research of MG's audience and communications which I then developed objectives, strategies and measurements as part of the final outcome for their communications.

During my second year at University, this module PR Planning and Delivery is where my passion for PR began. I created a detailed proposal for the well known restaurant and bar chain All Bar One.

All Bar One were set to release a new Vegan Menu back in January, 2019. They wanted to create brand awareness in offering amazing vegan food to cater towards a wide variety of diets.

I created a plan that summarises the companies current analysis, objectives and stakeholders. Following this, I delivered a strategy for their campaign to suit their needs of promoting their new Vegan Menu, in the best way possible from analysis to evaluation.

Outside of university, I took it upon myself to organise and host my sisters Baby Shower. I planned and designed everything myself, from venue handling, to creating social media and games content. I used Microsoft Excel to create a budget sheet for self guidance for the build up to the event. Also, a spreadsheet with each guests orders and dietary requirements in an organised format that I could forward to the venue and monitor each individual costing. As this event was on a budget, I thoroughly planned each element to have the best suitable outcome, hence why I designed and printed the games by myself, to making and handling the balloons along with the decoration of the venue. This was a great experience which gave me real hands on insight into Event Management and planning.

Also outside of university, I designed a table plan and menus to suit a winter wedding. I designed both of these using Adobe's InDesign software as this this most suitable for designs primarily based around layouts. Throughout the process of the designs, I also liaised with the printing company to ensure accuracy of size, fonts, colour and crop/bleed marks, for the best possible outcome of bringing these designs to life.
